There is wrongness in
American education about mandatory-attendance laws that using in educational
institutions. William Landes and Lewis Solomon, economist, concerns about that
and found indeed the number of children increased but the system have never
effectively enforced such laws, usually because of the expense involved. They
said that mandatory-attendance on the contrary to declines of educational
qualities. And they said abolition of attendance laws would produce enormous
dividends.
